Introducing Safe Pro for professional self-custody
Safe Pro unifies your Safe accounts in one Workspace, enforces policy through Safenet, and adds security support, without changing who holds the keys.

Self-custody gives a team control over its assets. When that team becomes responsible for treasury or protocol operations, exercising that control becomes an organizational job.
A treasury may span several Safe accounts and networks. Different people prepare transactions, review them, approve them, and keep track of what happened. Signers change roles. Routine payments need to move, while consequential decisions need greater oversight. Much of the work happens around the transaction itself.
Today, we’re introducing Safe Pro, a Workspace for teams responsible for onchain capital and critical operations. It brings their Safe accounts, team activity, operating controls, and professional support into one place. The team keeps control of its accounts.
From account control to organizational operations
Safe{Wallet} provides the foundation for shared, self-custodial account control. A team sets its signers and threshold configuration, and its Safe accounts remain under its control.
For professional teams, that foundation is part of a broader operating model. They need to see what is happening across accounts, divide work among people with different responsibilities, and give routine activity clear limits. They also need processes that hold up as their organization changes.
In conversations with teams already using Safe, we heard how the work around self-custody grows:
A team that built its own signing integrations and operational tools wanted to spend less time maintaining them.
Teams described tracing signer responsibilities across accounts before making a change, then coordinating approvals and checking that nothing was missed.
One team wanted routine activity to move within clear limits while keeping higher-stakes decisions with signers.
A team evaluating controls valued getting controls directly from Safe.
Safe Pro is built for that next layer of responsibility. It helps teams operate self-custody across an organization, while Safe{Wallet} remains the account-level foundation.
What Safe Pro brings to teams today
See the full organization
Safe Pro gives teams one Workspace view of the Safe accounts they add. They can see balances, pending transactions, and activity across those accounts. A shared address book and Workspace activity log help the team work from the same information.
The Workspace Security Hub shows supported security signals across accounts in the Workspace. Teams can use that view to review their account setup.

Separate preparation from approval
The person who knows what a transaction needs to do is not always the person who should authorize it.
Proposers can prepare transactions for signers to review. The proposer role does not grant signing or execution authority. Teams can assign preparation to the people doing the work while signers retain control of approvals.

Establish bounded operating controls
Some activity is recurring and predictable. Teams need a way to make that work practical without granting unrestricted authority.
On eligible Safe Pro plans, teams can view and prepare spending limits from their Workspace. A configured limit grants a designated address bounded authority to spend a specified token up to its limit. The open-source Allowance Module enforces that limit onchain.
This gives teams a way to delegate defined routine activity while retaining their account’s approval process for work outside those bounds. The controls remain specific: a spending limit does not create a general permission to act on behalf of the organization.

Access professional support
Safe Pro gives teams a defined path to support. Starter includes standard support. Business adds priority support and guided onboarding. Enterprise support commitments are tailored to the customer.
Gain coordination, keep custody
The security model is unchanged. Safe Pro adds coordination around Safe accounts, not custody. Safe Labs does not hold the team’s keys or assets. Adding an account to a Workspace does not change its signers or threshold configuration.
The underlying Safe accounts remain independently accessible through Safe{Wallet}. A team’s account control and signing rights do not depend on an active Safe Pro subscription. Transactions continue to follow the account’s onchain rules, including any bounded spending authority the team separately chooses to configure.
In short, Safe Pro helps people coordinate how they operate their accounts. Control of those accounts stays with them.
What early partners are saying
Lido's committees and operations run on Safe under DAO mandate. Safe Pro allows them to be in one Workspace, and we're working with Safe on the policy engine to enforce limits and approval rules onchain.
Eugene M. – Chief Technical Master at Lido
Safe is the most trusted infra out there, and I'm very excited to see Safe Pro add even more customization for stronger security guarantees.
Griff Green – Community Manager at The DAO Security Fund & Co-Founder of Giveth
What made Safe Pro an easy decision was that policy stops being something we hope people remember and becomes something the system enforces. We're looking forward to setting our thresholds once and trusting they hold everywhere, without chasing every signer to confirm they followed the process.
Alexander Chau – DeFi Lead at Katana

Thank you to our early partners who helped shape Safe Pro with valuable insights and early commitments.
Already using Workspace?
If your team created a Workspace before the Safe Pro launch, its owner can claim 60 days of free access between 6 October and 5 December 2026. The 60 days begin when the owner claims, and the selected Starter or Business plan limits apply.
No payment details are required. Nothing is charged automatically. The Workspace layer remains locked until the owner claims access. If the team does not subscribe after its free period, the Workspace locks again. Its Safe accounts and signing rights remain accessible.
Plans and a 30-day trial
Safe{Wallet} remains free. Safe Pro offers paid plans for teams that need an organizational Workspace and professional capabilities.
New Workspaces can start a 30-day trial of Starter or Business without entering a payment method. Starter begins at €189 per month, Business at €669 per month, and Enterprise is priced for tailored requirements. Prices exclude VAT.
The Safe Pro page has the full plan comparison, account limits, and current terms.
When self-custody becomes critical, operate with Safe Pro
As onchain responsibility grows, teams need a clear way to coordinate accounts, people, approvals, and routine work. Safe Pro gives them that organizational layer. They keep control of the Safe accounts underneath it.
Safe Pro is built on the same account architecture that secures more than $60B in onchain assets and over a $1T in onchain volume.
Explore Safe Pro and start a 30-day trial. For tailored requirements, contact the Safe team.
