This release has two components:
Safe Shield introduces Trusted Safe List, a structural upgrade to how Safes are surfaced and trusted inside Safe{Wallet}.
Mobile introduces Positions, improved portfolio visibility, and corrected values in the Safe mobile app, same experience you have on the web app.
Both extend the philosophy behind Safe Shield: helping users make more informed decisions that improve their security practices and user experience.
When we launched Safe Shield, we embedded security supporting features directly into the transaction flow with human-readable decoding, behavioral alerts, and pre-execution checks. Now with Trusted Safe List, we extend that effort to the account layer with supporting address curation by users.
Trusted Safe List helps you manage what you see.
You now confirm which Safes you trust.
Only Safes added to your Trusted Safe List appear in your sidebar and are fully interactable. On your first visit after the update, you’ll be prompted to review and confirm your Safes, curating what you see.
From then on:
New Safes you are added to will not automatically appear
You must explicitly add them and curate the list
Untrusted Safes are clearly labeled
Transactions on untrusted Safes require conscious confirmation
When adding a Safe to your trusted list, similarity detection runs automatically. If an address resembles one you already trust, you’ll receive a warning before confirming.
This gives you an additional checkpoint before verification.
Safe supports nested Safes — Safes owned by other Safes.
Trusted Safe List’s curation extends the same trusted list and similarity detection model to nested structures. So these tools remain useful as your setup grows in complexity.
In parallel, we are improving portfolio clarity across devices.
Positions are now displayed in the Safe mobile app, along with corrected portfolio values and filtering improvements, just like on the web app.
This means:
More accurate portfolio representation
Better visibility across devices
Clearer operational awareness for teams and power users
This feature will be live next week.
Safe secures over $65B in assets and has facilitated more than $1.4T in transaction volume.
As the onchain economy scales, interfaces must evolve alongside contracts.
Address Curation and Mobile Positions are part of that evolution.
Shield is an ongoing effort to raise the baseline for user security processes and usability across Ethereum infrastructure.
And we will keep building.
